CareRay publishes its 2025 annual report

R&D investment remains focused on core operations

The 2025 annual report records R&D expenditure of RMB32.0543 million, representing 9.99% of revenue. By year-end, CareRay had received 50 invention patents, 57 utility-model patents, 20 design patents and 21 software copyrights, for a cumulative total of 148 granted intellectual-property rights.

During the reporting period, the X-ray flat-panel detector was recognised as the product associated with a national-level specialised and innovative “little giant” enterprise. Projects under development covered portable flat-panel detectors, industrial non-destructive-testing detectors and intelligent collimator systems.

The intelligent collimator connects acquisition and positioning

The annual report states that the intelligent collimator project combines mechanical design, hardware circuits and software algorithms to achieve a smaller, lighter and motorised system. It can exchange data with DROC and uses an AI module for positioning assistance. The project is in pilot production and is intended for intelligent upgrades of human and veterinary DR systems.

The business boundary extends into healthcare information services

During the period, CareRay invested in Shanghai Renyan Information Technology Co., Ltd. and obtained a 6.67% interest. The investment connects existing imaging hardware and system capabilities with healthcare information and data services, creating an organisational basis for future coordination across devices, data and services.
