From September 4 to 5, the 2026 Guangdong Medical Association Joint Conference on Health Management and Internet Healthcare was held at Guangzhou Dongfang Hotel. Under the theme “Digital Intelligence Leads and Integrates the Greater Bay Area; Three Provinces and Four Regions Build a Healthy Journey Together,” the conference brought together experts and scholars in health management and internet healthcare from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, three provinces in South China, and across the country to conduct academic discussions on leveraging digital intelligence technologies to empower the high-quality development of healthcare. Maide Intelligent showcased its Jenna (IAS-pe) health management intelligent ultrasound examination large model at this event, sharing practical experience in the application of AI ultrasound technology in health examination and health management settings through booth displays, academic presentations by experts, and offline hands-on visits.

The conference featured a keynote forum and eight specialized sub-forums, focusing on industry topics including artificial intelligence and precision health management, early cancer screening, and the development and operation of internet hospitals. Renowned experts delivered specialized presentations at the conference, introducing the Jenna AI ultrasound end-to-end assisted solution. Designed for ultrasound screening in health management settings, the product addresses clinical pain points such as high examination volumes, complex workflows, and insufficient quality control in health examination ultrasound services. It establishes a dual-mechanism quality control system comprising standardized retention of imaging planes + dynamic real-time detection of positive lesions, balancing the completeness of organ scanning with the ability to identify occult lesions. By combining image retention with real-time audio alerts for lesions, the dual mechanisms reduce the risks of missed scans and missed diagnoses while improving the standardization and diagnostic efficiency of ultrasound examinations.

The product can identify 11 categories of organs in real time, including the thyroid, breast, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and spleen, and automatically captures and retains standard imaging planes during scanning. It provides real-time marking and alerts for common positive lesions, including thyroid and breast nodules, liver cysts, and gallstones, and automatically generates structured reports, which require review and confirmation by clinicians. The product was trained on millions of de-identified cases and tens of millions of image and video data records. It can identify microlesions at the 2–3 mm level and demonstrates strong capabilities in real-time organ identification, imaging-plane capture and retention, and lesion detection. It can interface with existing ultrasound equipment and can be deployed without extensive modifications to existing workflows.

During the conference, Maide Intelligent set up a dedicated booth for on-site exchanges. In addition, the Health Management Center of Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital opened eight consultation rooms equipped with Jenna devices for participating guests to experience. Experts from a number of authoritative domestic medical institutions visited the site, including experts from the Health Examination Center of Xiangya Hospital, the Health Examination Center of China-Japan Friendship Hospital, and the National Cancer Center/Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. They entered the ultrasound examination rooms to observe Jenna in operation within actual health examination services, operated the equipment firsthand, and experienced the complete workflow of AI-assisted scanning and intelligent report generation. This marked another occasion, following the Guangzhou launch event earlier this year, on which the product underwent on-site validation by industry experts in a real clinical environment.

Digital transformation is an important direction for the development of health management, and AI ultrasound technology provides a new pathway for enhancing quality control capabilities in health examinations. Through its participation in this conference, Maide Intelligent conducted in-depth exchanges with professionals in health management and medical imaging from across the country and collected practical feedback from frontline clinical use. Going forward, the company will continue to refine its products based on clinical needs, advance the practical implementation of AI ultrasound technology in health screening settings, and provide medical institutions with reliable intelligent ultrasound-assisted solutions.
